Registration
Register NOW at TeamSnap.com (2026 Tackle & Flag Football)! The registration fee is $300 and can be paid directly through the BBGC website.
The following information is for the TACKLE program ONLY:
Important Reminders
Tackle Football is available for ages 6–14*
Boys Flag Football is available for ages 5–6
Girls Flag Football is available for ages 14u
All tackle players must be fully registered by July 14th to ensure equipment is secured before practices begin.
Players who are not fully registered, including submission of the required equipment deposit, will not be permitted to participate in practice beginning July 20th.
*Please Note: Team placement for the 6U age group will be determined based on final registration numbers. If necessary, 6U players may participate in the Mid-Maryland League's 7u American or Federal Division to ensure a successful and competitive season for all players.

We recommend purchasing required items before the first practice.
Required Equipment Deposit
To finalize registration, a $450 uniform/equipment deposit is REQUIRED AND MANDATORY. This is not liquid cash - just a deposit that will NOT be cashed unless the equipment/uniform is not returned. The deposit is required regardless if you have your own equipment or not. BBGC will accept deposits in 2 forms - please have either option ready when you come to the field to pick-up your equipment.
Deposit options:
Option 1: Post-dated check (December 31, 2026) payable to Bowie Boys & Girls Club.
Option 2: ACH Authorization Form completed during equipment pickup. Please bring your account and routing information.
All checks and ACH forms will be returned or securely destroyed once equipment is returned at season's end.

Please Note: These dates are tentative and may be adjusted depending on when our refurbished equipment is returned. Any changes will be communicated as soon as possible.

Parent Access
Parents are not permitted on the field at any time.
Due to equipment distribution activities, parents will not be permitted inside the home-side gate or bleacher area until July 27. Visitor-side bleachers will remain open.
Practice Dress Code
July 20–21:
Helmet, T-shirt, shorts, cleats, and mouthpiece
July 22-23 & 27:
Helmet, shoulder pads, T-shirt, shorts, cleats, and mouthpiece
July 28 & Beyond:
Full pads

Flag Football Information
Additional information for the Flag Football Program will be communicated by July 17th. Families should tentatively plan for the first day of practicing being scheduled for August 11th.
First practice is tentatively scheduled for August 11th. Girls Flag will occur sooner (date TBD).
Practices are tentatively scheduled for Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
Tuesday/Thursday: 6:30 PM–7:45 PM
Saturday: 10:00 AM–11:30 AM
The first game is tentatively scheduled for the week of September 7th.
Registration includes game uniforms and league-required equipment.
Parents must provide:

Important Information for All Players:
Mouthpieces Required
Mouthpieces are mandatory at all team activities. Players without a mouthpiece will not be allowed to participate.
State ID Requirement
All players must obtain a state-issued ID prior to roster certification.
Players cannot be certified to league rosters without a valid state-issued ID or MMYFCL-issued ID. No exceptions will be granted by the league.
For DC residents, MMYFCL will issue league IDs, as DC One Cards are not accepted. Tentative date to get a MMYFCL-issued ID: 8/16 from 2:30 PM – 4:00 PM EST in Columbia, MD. Cost: $30.00. More information will be shared closer to the date.
