Charles Dudley, entering his second year with the BBGC tackle football, is the new Head coach of the Mitey Mights American team. Charles is one of three returning coaches from last year’s Mitey Mights tournament championship team. Under Previous Head coach Joe Eberhard, Charles Dudley directed the offense. Last years Mighty Mites (5, 6, and 7 year olds) had a very successful season, again culminating in a Tournament Championship victory.

I really enjoy working with this age group. There is nothing better than seeing the look of accomplishment on their faces when they succeed. I believe “Success starts with Dedication, Determination, and Teamwork” (DDT). Dedication means being devoted to the commitments one makes. Determination is the sheer will to better oneself. Teamwork could arguably be the most important key. No team has been successful with a single superstar. A running back does not score unless his dedicated and determined offensive line work together to help him. This is the perfect age group to start instilling these values. This year I will be stepping up to the head coach’s position. I am looking forward to another exciting season in 2008 with the added challenge of repeating last year’s success.

Charles Dudley is a network engineer. Charles’s family ( wife and seven children) been involved with BBGC for 7 years. Dudley also coaches wrestling, lacrosse, and baseball.
