Derrick has played football as a youth. Coach Derrick is the man he is today because of how he values people and life.

Derrick is going on his third year coaching for the CBL with a record last year(2007) of 9-1. Derrick owes alot to his past and present coaching staff, " A good man, surrounds himself with Great men." He has a strong passion for kids and belives that wisdom and knowledge is something that needs to be instilled in kids. He and his coaches will pass on football and some of lifes knowledge to the kids he coaches.
